Having been together since college, a thirty-something married couple decides to experiment with non-monogamy, becoming dangerously entangled with a polyamorous woman and her hedonistic boyfriend.
A loving homage to the erotic thrillers of the 80s and 90s, with its discourse and ideas firmly updated for modern audiences, Other People is about the friction between comfort and passion – and the question of whether these two things can ever co-exist, or whether one inevitably snuffs out the other.
Other People was one of eight projects selected for the third year of Impact Australia, an international screenplay incubator program run by Ron Howard and Brian Grazer’s Imagine Entertainment. Jordan spent two months developing the project with renowned Australian screenwriter Shaun Grant (Snowtown, Nitram).
